Varallo Vineyards is more than a vineyard, it is a "destination".  After four years of research and a test vineyard the Varallos determined that the best grape to grow on the property would be a Riesling variety. The process began and over 7 acres of  vines were planted. A second vineyard of Pino Noir was also planted and both will become Spring Lake Winery's signature wines. Our signature wines will feature a late harvest Riesling, full bodied with a sweetness appropriate for both entrées and deserts.

The vineyards are uniquely located in the Town of Lockport and are a part of the 78 acres that include an 8 acre spring fed lake, unique woods, Spring Lake Winery, The Wine Barrel gift shop and BelAqua.

While visiting the vineyards you can enjoy a nature walk on the path around the lake in the spring, summer or fall. Or you may choose to sit and view it's beauty from the winery or gift shop. You may also take a stroll down the path to the Pino vineyard and while passing visit the Wine Barrel gift shop that sells homemade crafts and a variety of souvenirs. All of this and more can be a part of your trip to Varallo Vineyards.
